Completely disagree that it was an 8 point try.

There was no intent to clip him in the head at all.

All academic now though.

A careless high tackle is still a penalty....I definitely don't think it was deliberate, but it doesn't have to be

Pretty much the definition of an 8 point try. Leading with the knees, got him in the head....one of the more clear cut. Wouldn't have mattered, for once we were just out of gas at the death. But if that's not an 8 point try then we won't see one again
There was one of these in the Bathurst match a couple of weeks back, the Peachey try I think, same result. Both times it appeared the thigh, and not the knee, made contact. Still, its a risky move and I don't know why players do it.

I've got a feeling the bunker takes a dim view of players trying to milk penalties, which Semi was clearly doing and which Parra did all game.

Once again, the theory of taking the 2 when its on offer gets validated. Yes it's boring and everyone hates it, but it works. Coaches wouldn't do it if it didn't

We would have (in theory) beat the dragons if we took the two on the penalty where bj dropped the ball over the try line

Thats assuming the rest of the game went exactly the same

LOL @ Eels fans complaining. Jennings forward pass? Reynolds try? Brown penalised for tackling too hard? I could go on and on.

Has there ever been a winger that makes a team? Every good thing Parra does comes off the back of Semi radradra brilliance

He's a freak, but I wouldn't say everything. Jennings put him away last night. Norman had an offer night but there's a reason he was fourth or fifth in the Dally M until last night.

This was no attempt to clip the head yet 8 point try.

Hoffman for the Broncos gave away a 8 point try to when he was deemed to try and knock the ball out of Bailey for the Titans hand but instead makes contact with the head. 8 point try awarded.

You're just never allowed to contact the head, that's one of the first rules but in the NRL it's inconsistent to the point some fans are now saying "oh it was no intent, so you can get away with that head high". WTF?? I mean just listen to that.

Is Semi playing SOO for NSW?

He might score plenty but he lets plenty in. Souths could have scored nearly everytime they went to his side.

Thurston and Cronk will have a field day against him.

Listening to Rabs player name pronunciation reminded me of The Twelfth Man:

Rabs: Jack Goz...Gos...the bloke with the big Pollack name...

Correct.

Parra stripping the ball on Sam and Clark with no penalty.

Off a bomb to the corner Parra koncoked on over the dead ball line and Cummins said drop out when it wasn't.

Parra slowed the ruck down far too much too and were offside most of the time and didn't get penalised.

Parra milked a lot of things too.

2 tripping incidents as well with no penalties or report.

I could be here all night writing a novel about the disgusting incompetent refereeing in Parra's favour.

Their supporters are butthurt with everything and can't take a fair loss.

Souths lost to the Tigers and I said well played Tigers. Sometimes there is no point lying. Just admit the better team won.

Some Parra supporters have shown their true colours in this thread.

It makes the victory more sweet. So thank you guys.
