The Panthers gave a reasonable account of themselves on the weekend, but mistakes cost them the game. The Bulldogs were remarkably workmanlike in putting an extremely sloppy Manly away, but I think they'll get a tougher match here. Panthers are in disarray, we have to wait and see who wears the 9.

I remember last couple of times at Penny park the Panthers got us in tight ones. I suspect another close one, hopefully this time we can get the cookies. Shouldn't be too hot as a night game, with the two losses in Penrith being day games.

I feel for the panthers here. It was a f**king hard slog at canberra in the weather and they have a 5 day turnaround on top of it.

Its hard to look past the bulldogs on that front alone

Who do you think it'll be? Zach Dockar-Clay?

Same here Peet.

Recovery is a big factor. And how we get a 5 day turnaround is anyones guess.

At least the next one will be a 10 day rest and recovery.Penrith will show up for this game. But I feel only a win will suffice if the Dogs bus breaks down on the way to the ground.

Dogs by 10-18 pts.

Penrith weren't out of it by any means against the Raiders, and Lichaa's injury means the Dogs have an untested dummy half in action.

Would not surprise if this was a very close one.

5 day turnaround and our two best spine players missing. Wouldnt be so bad if the replacements were quality. But we're scraping the barrell for a hooker with our backup in Sione Katoa also being injured. Hope Gould is kicking himself for not hanging onto Korisau. It's only Round 2 and that decision has backfired.

We usually do well against the Bulldogs. But we don't have much going in our favour for this game. If Moylan returns and we put TMM in the halves I'd be more confident in us being able to score points. Even with Wallace at hooker. Moylan would be a ling shot though.

dogs also missing half their spine, so that offsets the moylan/seggy thing a bit

doesn't completely balance it off obviously because the dogs rely on their spine much less then penrith do

if the dogs were to control the ball and defend as physically as they did on friday, i think they'll do the job fairly comfortably

penny will come to play and the dogs last year would consistently follow a good performance with a shite one. i think its in their hands and they need to prove to be more consistent this year to be taken serious

Haha nailed it! Watching games now every time a tackle looks a little awkward or someone grimaces u just expect the worst

Hasler will build on what they started and I think the Dogs will probably get home comfortably. Penrith probably have the worst injury luck in the League. Who the f**k is their conditioning coach/manager and why does he have a job?
