How can anyone defend us picking Whare? He wasn't fit to play on Tuesday and had only began running. Our next game would have allowed him 10 more days to recover. The smart move and safe move is to stick with the fit backline we named and give Whare 10 more days to be 100%. I was against it before the game as i feared this outcome. Considering how injury prone we are it was a pretty safe bet.

Instead we picked a guy that wasn't fully fit. He re-did that injury and forced another reshuffle and a lost interchange. Now he's in doubt for our next game when he would have been 100% if we just waited.

Our injury management is beyond a joke. Matt Moylan hurts his back against Bulldogs. Rather than rest him the next week we play him for 80 minutes and find out he has a stress fracture and he's missing the opening games of the season.

We pick a bloke before he is fully fit in Round 2 and now he's likely to miss round 3. We did the same thing with Mansour last year and he couldn't get back to his best. Using players who are injured isn't doing right by the player or the team.

Peachey at 5/8th seemed like the right call. Many have called for him to be 5/8th for good this season. He didn't play well, everyone says what a terrible decision it was....

Whare gets passed fit to play by the medical team. Whare improves our team immensely when he plays..... Why the hell wouldn't you pick him?
