Oates is a big loss and I think the Panthers will be too strong and win in a close game.

The only reason why Panthers fans have such low expectations is because we've been through this before. Key players out injured and others underperforming, 0 and 2 and playing the premiership favourites.

I hope they prove me wrong but I'm not going to get my hopes up only to be let down anymore, been following them too long. I'll stick to pessimism.

Gees everyone is so sure about the broncos. I like how optimistic panthers fans are, we are only 2 rounds in and everyone has already given up, tough bunch we are.

Turn it up dickhead - The thread is about this game, has nothing to do with the season as a whole - But no, don't let that stop you from getting up on that f**king high horse

Brisbane to end Penrith's season early with a hiding.
0 and 3 doesn't end your season. Just look at last season, the premiers were 0 and 3.

This is a tough assignment for the home team, but I'm quite sure they will show up.

Fair play Froggy. Just don't see any potential with Penrith at all, unless they "gamble" in the halves now rather than rely on predictable and boring and hope for the best.

Round 3 2015 - Broncos smashed Cowboys 44-22. Giving them 3 losses to start the season.

Panthers are unlikely to repeat that. But it's obviously possible to bounce back since it happened as recently as last year.

And there is mail floating around that the gamble may happen, with Te Maire Martin likely to start in the halves next to Soward with Peachey dropping back to the bench.

Wow lol, all i'm saying is it's round 2, have some faith in your team for atleast the first couple of rounds as some have said cowboys didn't look like doing anything after 3 rounds. No one would of guessed that they would go on to win the GF. Panthers by 2

Peach to Centre, Blake to wing and DWZ to fullback is the far better option

They led your mob for 79.5 minutes last week. A bit of respect called for here, unless you are just trolling in an opposition team's forum. It's pretty well accepted that Peachey at 6, which is what we had last week, isn't the best attacking option.

Trust me, I completely agree but we all know that isn't going to happen unfortunately. My suspicion is that griffin will want Peacheys ball playing off the bench, or perhaps start TMM on the bench and bring him on when the forwards start to tire.
