For every mistake Soward makes in defense he makes up for it with his cool head and kicking game.

Well done roosters that was a good effort. Panthers defence remains a problem, they were rolling through us without a couple of their best forwards.

Thought Martin had some nice touches tonight too, Penrith seem to be slowly easing him into the game every week. Not sure what happens once Segs is back next week or the week after. I wouldn't go back to having Wallace in your halves but that's just me.

In 2003 the Panthers were referred to as the heart break kids. You just never know and that's what makes sports interesting.

Lol I tell you what though, not by much.

When you consider the wet weather as an equaliser,the Roosters would have been pumped up for this.At first,it seemed the Panthers were going to do it easily.But to Easts credit,they hung on,and capitulated on the opportunities that were put in front of them...a good effort which should be praised by their fans.

Roosters won't be finishing last on this showing.In fact,don't be surprised if they do a Houdini and make the final 8.
