Ha ha - In fairness, this is one of the reasons I actually like Canberra a little bit - The fans understand banter :)

I don?t think there?s many Raiders fans who would think we deserved to win that game, but it is hard to cop a decision like that. Yes, there?ll usually be a dozen ordinary calls by onfield officials during a match but when a referee sends something up to the bunker, specifically asks them to review an obstruction and gets it wrong after getting to watch a number of slow motion replays, that?s a different thing.

If Archer admits it was a mistake then the video ref should be stood down. There?s no excuse for a video official clearly not knowing the rules. I?m pretty sure it?s not the first time Patten has been in the sh*t this year either.

Penrith earned the win regardless......I don't have a problem with that.

I do. We crossed their try line 6 times to 3.

We were the better team.

If you are counting the double movement surely you count Matagi strolling through a huge gap and having the ball knocked out of his hands over the line(which should of been our ball again).

That's fair hahah
I completely agree with Walt
We didn't deserve to win, we were outplayed for 65 minutes and the only reason we were still in the game was because the Penrith halves are so unimaginative and they dropped a lot of footy
The mistake by Patten was absolutely ridiculous, but my belief if that if we played the first 65 like we did the last 15 we wouldn't have had to worry about walls for a FG attempt

Well there you have it, Archer admitted that Penrith should never have won the game.

Hope you feel good Penrith fans, knowing that you weren't actually good enough to beat us and had to rely on a disgracefully incorrect decision to win.

This match should forever have an asterisk next to it, as the game was handed on a silver platter to a team that was second best on the day.

Hahahaha. I need to read more match threads.

Archer should wipe his chin because he is talking shit.A penalty should have been awarded to the Raiders, but that does not guarantee that they would have won the match.

And remember,Canberra still had a last chance to steal the match in the dying stages of the game, which in in fact, could have been the same scenario if Canberra had been awarded a penalty in the first place from that obstruction.

Skeepe, your team crossed more times than we did,but we made our attempts count, and your no-tries were correctly ruled.

They are the rules, but I truly empathise with your disappointment.

Plenty of times we thought the refs were screwing us over the early years of our club's life. And that was well before your club came on the scene.

Believe me,we know what it's like to systematically get shafted.
