What classes as a wall to you maybe different to someone else. However slight there was a gap though.

The wall is defined in the rule as 2 or more players
And guess what? Archer has admitted the error today, and said a penalty should have been awarded for an illegal wall

You can imagine my surprise

The audio seems to indicate that they ruled there was enough space between Segeyaro (who was the dummy half) and Merrin for him to fit through. That he contacted them both, as well as the tackled player for that matter, seems to indicate they thought he was playing for a penalty.
It's like you don't even have eyes.

Which Merrin did his best to close by moving to his left into Vaughan.

LOL, give up you f**king spastics. Even Archer admits they got it wrong.

You should use yours and read what I posted. I posted what Patten says on the audio. Nothing to do with my opinion on the incident and nothing to do with eyes. It is ears.

What is it with you people? We've lost games after forward passes, bad calls, you name it. We get over it. There's another game next week, or the week after. This game has been decided. You got what you believe was a bad call but its happened before a million times without all this blood-letting, and it wasn't the only bad call in the game, a few of them went the other way. Just god damn get over it. You were the second best side on the field.

A bunch of whinging little mini-Sticky's thats what you lot are.

That's beside the point!

Well it kind of is we still won the game. It was one incorrect call amongst a multitude of bad calls made every weekend. Every team will cop shockers like that over a season, well most teams will anyway. Canberra had chances to win it we gave you plenty of them.

FFS,are people still carrying on about that incident nearly 3 days after it was over? Some people carry on as if they are the only ones ever to have got shafted in a sporting competition.

Grow the fook up and move on before you all pop a vein in your foreheads.

Well there you have it, Archer admitted that Penrith should never have won the game.

Hope you feel good Penrith fans, knowing that you weren't actually good enough to beat us and had to rely on a disgracefully incorrect decision to win.

This match should forever have an asterisk next to it, as the game was handed on a silver platter to a team that was second best on the day.

I don’t think there’s many Raiders fans who would think we deserved to win that game, but it is hard to cop a decision like that. Yes, there’ll usually be a dozen ordinary calls by onfield officials during a match but when a referee sends something up to the bunker, specifically asks them to review an obstruction and gets it wrong after getting to watch a number of slow motion replays, that’s a different thing.

If Archer admits it was a mistake then the video ref should be stood down. There’s no excuse for a video official clearly not knowing the rules. I’m pretty sure it’s not the first time Patten has been in the sh*t this year either.

Penrith earned the win regardless......I don't have a problem with that.
