There are a few who are on their last legs but it's going to take a big loss or consecutive losses before we see mass changes to the make up of the Australian team.

And Boyd fits that description?

Get rid of him and take Thiaday, McGuire, Inglis, Gillett, Smith and Cronk as well.

I forgot Gilette even played, says alot about how he played. Get rid of him of him as well.

Lets pick players that want to be there. It really feels as if alot of the squad feel complacent and safe with their selection in the Australian team.

Gus must have been bored out of his mind.

The Australians gave him absolutely nothing to talk about, so he invented some drama about how unimpressive Australia looked. Was he watching the same game? Of course Australia weren't playing A+ football, how could they when they were playing Gallen ball? One out footy, get to your kick and defend. They didn't look impressive because they didn't have to be.

This must be a joke right?

No way would Australia go with a fullback with no ball playing ability.

Why? We did tonight

Lol @qlders getting Ancy about dropping players. It's not a NSW v qld thing, the majority of players tonight were awful. The side obviously needs a shake up, guys like Boyd, Cronk, Papalli, Thaiday etc have been mainstays of this side and are a massive reason why Aus has been so disappointing. And yes FTR id get rid of ferguson too.

Back to the curtain raiser......
It felt to me like the roos were just looking for a win by 14-18 points.
Make of that whatever you want.
They scored with 12 players on the field ffs.
The last try showed how easily they could score

I'd say Gus has plenty to complain about if the guys representing Australia think doing the bare minimum is an acceptable performance.

Clearly they went into the game to play one out grind football and succeeded.

Not the prettiest game by any means, but not the cause for concern others are making out.

I wish Gould would shut the f**k up. The entire second half he was like a little kid complaining about how bored he was.

No other sport has a commentator as unprofessional.

Kahu & JT3 were the only players out there tonight giving it everything they had. Would have been a blow out if it wasn't for some of Kahu's efforts in defence.

9 is showing the womens game now. They should have put it on during prime time and pushed the blokes back because it is a superior match.

That's the spirit. It'll definitely improve if everybody adopts that viewpoint.

I expect if any other countries cared about RL at all then they would already have proper functioning leagues up and running by now. They've only had about 150 years to take an interest. Soccer seemed to catch on pretty quickly.
