The Four Nations this year will be the last series for a lot of these players you'd have to think.

Yes, despite the amount of improvement the Kiwis have in them, I'm not convinced this Australian side will bare much resemblance to the one that lines up at the World Cup.

With Mal Maniga in charge I think theres a good chance they roll forward to the World Cup with the nucleus in tact.

Recently, that's exactly what they have done. They tank in this pointless mid-season test and then win competitions at season's end where something is actually on the line.

PHP:

Inglis try was all Inglis, had nothing to do with Morgan.

Goodluck to Morgan, looking forward to seeing what he can do.

That's fair enough if you think that.
But to be honest Morgan and Milford are your next Australian halves pairing for mine.

I'd be retiring Thaiday and also leaving out Papali. Neither of them add anything. Gurerra would also be gone. The teams needs some xfactor, bring Fifita in off the bench. Jennings to centre, Dugan to fullback.

No way would Australia go with a fullback with no ball playing ability.

I'd be happy with that. Morgan in my eyes is much better off playing half than utilised as a utility player. I'd like to see Milford in there now perhaps off the bench. We need someone who can do something special in the team. Feels like we lack that at the moment.

I hear this a lot but the only way theyll be taken seriously is to win game after game, they have done it before and won a test but they need to do it year after year.
The kiwis are far more talented than Aus, so they should be dominating.
Suddenly the test was important again after the Kiwis won, funny that lol.

Lol the one time Gallen passed the ball inside the 22, they scored. He loves taking hit ups when the ball should be going wide.

I don't recall anybody ever thinking of this test as anything more than a pointless bit of lip service to the ANZACs and a chance for the Kangaroos to get together and jerk one another off about how great it is to be dominant in a sport they hold to ransom.

Were I a Kiwis fan, I'd be more concerned if they were losing tournaments and winning what is essentially a friendly.

As a fan of neither side, I just wish this game wasn't always such a butt-ugly affair.

Gallen has always been like that, the rest of the team know that.
If they want the ball to go wide, don't pass it to him.
