Can you brief me on what the importance of the international game ,especially one like that witnessed tonight?
Interested to know
The game last night has no importance. It's played so that the Kangaroos can get back a win from a post-season tournament loss. The Kiwis are rarely, if ever, competitive for the fixture and this has notoriously been linked with NRL clubs withdrawing their Kiwi eligible players.
I don't support either side, but I do support international football and see it as a logical way to grow league's coffers, player base, and fan base, so hate to see it being marginalized. Tests like this, played with no real passion by either side, don't do a great deal to help that. Better than no test though.
I expect if any other countries cared about RL at all then they would already have proper functioning leagues up and running by now. They've only had about 150 years to take an interest. Soccer seemed to catch on pretty quickly.
That's exactly how it works. Rugby's international dominance has emerged because the sport actively tries to smother international competition and does nothing to promote or aid in its growth. /sarcasm
You blokes have no idea. Veggie just has always been a Bronco hater, so I can write off his comment.
The other bloke clearly doesnt watch many Broncos games. Boyd always slots onto the line and creates try's with his ball play.
I definitely didn't watch him show his pea heartedness in game after game after game in the red and blue.
