Fair call. This thread is literally titled “18th club, who’s next?”
PNG being next seems to about the only post that actually is on topic.
Such an amateur mistake. You’d hate to see it.
try reading. NSLC fund the NSFC $130k, NSFC run on a budget of $550k (2023). They have more revenue than just the LC.
Do you even know what goes on at your club?
Beating his chest because he doesn’t understand the terminology of what an over arching business means.Clearly you dont know your own club lol. They are run as separate businesses with their own set of accounts. The NSFC spent $550k in 2023 running rugby league programs. of which $130k came from the LC.
Glad I could school you on how your club works, you're welcome
PNG seems a given now. Going to be interesting to say the least! This thread is literally titled “18th club, who’s next?”

Yes, couldnt be arsed to keep typing all that out, I think even the dumbest understand what I mean by NSFC?When this guy says “NSFC”, does he actually mean “NSDRLFC”?
Melbourne are in top 4 watched clubs on tv whilst some Sydney clubs sit in bottom 5. You might be overstating the importance of a resurrected Sydney brand on tv audience outcomes?
sigh, do you understand that the football club spent $550k running its programs in 2023? And that of that $550k spend $130k came from the leagues club?Beating his chest because he doesn’t understand the terminology of what an over arching business means.
What a moron.
PNG seems a given now. Going to be interesting to say the least!
Im going to be really interested to see how they set them up to be able to attract a squad that can compete and if the other clubs will accept the advantages they are going to have to be given to do that.
Despite a stadium not really fit for NRL, a business case that fails to stack up, no value to TV and pretty much everyone else in the NRL thinking its a terrible idea Vlandys seems determined to make the train crash happen.
Do you seriously just go through every clubs financials and annual reports hahaha, how much time do you actually have on your hands ?, seriously that’s not healthy mate.Clearly you dont know your own club lol. They are run as separate businesses with their own set of accounts. The NSFC spent $550k in 2023 running rugby league programs. of which $130k came from the LC.

Thought you might be talking about mythical organisations again.Yes, couldnt be arsed to keep typing all that out, I think even the dumbest understand what I mean by NSFC?
Again that doesnt happen for all sydney clubs now. So will a perth club being called bears really make that much difference in Sydney? Maybe 10% tops if we are being generous. Certainly not enough to be a deal breaker one way or the other. Form, star appeal, opposition, time slot. They arguably have a much bigger bearing on tv audiences than just the brand. Melbourne pretty much prove that in the Sydney audience ratings.Melbourne have a huge following in QLD. That ensures they get a healthy TV audience but most importantly they are the same timezone. So Melbourne fans can watch.
Lets assume that FTA puts Perth team games on for the novelty factor early on.
How many locals are tuning in at 6pm Friday or 5.45pm Thursday to watch?
You have them play Broncos. There is no interest from the Sydney market in that game.
You have Perth as a known brand and you get some interest. The merger with Newtown would of had the same effect just without the juniors.
As opposed to Pirates or something that no one has a hatred or like for.
You do realise as it’s been proven time and time again there’s more than just a football club under its business right? There’s 11 businesses in total all which are profitable.
Please enlighten us more with your business wisdom.
Thanks for the evidence of what I was suspecting.
As the moron argues more and more because he doesn’t understand.sigh, do you understand that the football club spent $550k running its programs in 2023? And that of that $550k spend $130k came from the leagues club?
They are legally separate orgs with separate annual reports, separate boards and separate financial reporting. How can you not know this?
If you take Cumins at his word. Maybe you should take Andrew Hill at his word as well when he says PNG is financially strong without government funding.
Why ?, because of Perth Red and Buttwrinkles fairytales ?.Bears ceo Dickson could soon be without a job
lmao
I'm interested in the business side of the game as well. You think I'm bad now, wait till I start early retirement in a year or two lolDo you seriously just go through every clubs financials and annual reports hahaha, how much time do you actually have on your hands ?, seriously that’s not healthy mate.
Perth Red picks and chooses who he believes and who he doesn’t, he is just three hours behind the rest of Australia. If you take Cumins at his word. Maybe you should take Andrew Hill at his word as well when he says PNG is financially strong without government funding.
TBf you also said there was no way it would be based in PNG, insisted they we woud be in before 2026 (waiting on that bet pay out!) and that Cairns would be getting a stadium upgrade to accommodate them.Guys just an fyi
Perth rat has now admitted png is a given
When I first told him about a png nrl team he laughed at me and said it was no chance
zilch
literally the guy has no clue about what moves pvl will make
