WA government support nrlwa. NRL owns nrlwa. NRL wants bears..
Sigh, the nrlwa isnt entering a bid. the Perth consortium is.

If it’s in partenrship'with someone it will be because the Perth bid thinks it’s the best chance of success. if it’s stand Alone it’s because they feel they don’t need the hassle and baggage of a partnership and can be a success on their own.
the govt, sackson and Perth bid leader have said their preferred option is stand alone. But if it needs to be a partnership so be it.

NRL picks bid. You've got it ass backwards. Make it sound like Cumins is calling shots.

First it's "there is no bid", than

"It's not the official bid", than

"The NRL want a different bid"

They'd want to make that decision soon if they've only a month to submit their bid.
I’d suggest it will be decided this week. The meeting with the possible partners happened last week. There’ll be a regather of wa govt, bid and nrlwa this week to discuss the feedback from those meetings and I’d suggest theyll have decided by end of week.

You said a standalone Perth team had no chance lol
If the club struggles on the field -- like the Force -- then it will have no chance of developing a strong supporter base.

On the other hand, if they're forced to align themselves with the Bears then there will be animosity from the start. Western Australians are very parochial and don't want to be pushed around by people from Sydney.
