They didnt you gronk. He was being interviewed on other things at amusic event and someone asked about the NRl news. The WA deputy premier doesnt call a presser on a sunday for NRL lol If it had been for NRL it would have been the sports minister whose leading the working group.

That interview doesnt exist, if the 20 team comp news doesn't exist, especially since they touted cairns to be next .... above perfh, which the only reason this dude is newsworthy, otherwise he aint, neither is the event

Nah theyre just ambulance chasers, most news outlets are, they love the drama, and the look on a politicians face when the opposite side shows them up... in this case AFL state/media laughing at a guy who wants RL in his town, but is shattered by news of Cairns getting it instead...
