The redevelopment should be conditional on the Dolphins playing all there home games there.

Imagine a 70k Suncorp with a roof! The atmosphere of an Origin would be out of this world. Might become a reality soon.
If so a third Brisbane side is a must.
once fans experience the new Suncorp the crowds will explode.

PNG seems so unrealistic and hopefully it doesn’t eventuate.

Go to 20 teams -
Perth Pirates or Perth Bears if NS can be more realistic.
South Island Keas.
And East’s bid, South Queensland Sabres or whatever they want to call themselves.

3 Brisbane sides all playing their 12 games at Suncorp. A match at the new Suncorp every week. The NRL would absolutely explode in SQLD.

Dolphins should be playing all 12 home games at Lang Park.

Brisbane Tigers needs to come in within the next eight years. It offers so much more than any other bid.

It probably will, its their own ground if they can get the local council to approve changes nearby they might be able to size it up to 17k, then a future plan to get it bigger again down the track maybe> 22k
Thing is if you let them expand their size then they'll push to stay there indefinitely, (ala cronulla) instead of 9 games at suncorp (which is centre of town, more access to fans), which should be the minimum, you let them expand they'll play rent free in a 22k stadium n redcliffe instead of a possible 70k suncorp (talking in future of course)

One off big games where you want to maximise crowds a modern oval is fine for.
Stadium Australia is not a rectangular stadium by any stretch of the imagination. Its a worse experience than Optus or MCG imo.

It's one of the reasons I cannot get too emotionally invested in the Dolphins. At the core they're a Redcliffe team. I would feel more passionate about the Brisbane Tigers as they'll represent my region.

I've always believed Brisbane needs more than two teams. Only an idiot who doesn't understand rugby league in Brisbane would be stupid enough to think two clubs is enough to cover Brisbane.

Except the Broncos are supported all over Brisbane (and the whole southern half of QLD for that matter) That has been the landscape for the best part of 35 years. Dividing Brisbane up into small regions for the sake of NRL clubs 35 years later is seriously f**king stupid, because why would you want to copy clubs like Manly and Cronulla and not the Broncos? and why the f**k wait around for 35 years just to bring in suburban clubs!?

Thats all you need in a city the size of Brisbane. Maybe in decades to come as Ipswich region grows you could have a team out there if its justified. Putting the Dolphins into a region already well covered by Broncos whilst leaving south of river empty other than some Broncos fans was plain stupidity.
