Wests and balmain had rugby league people with experience. Look how they worked out.
Nice comparing 2000 to 2024. Quarter of a century of experience and learning. If this was a horse race the caller would be like

“ and Bullwinkle gets in front of rocky by a nose - this grand race in the imbecile cup has never been so close. Who will get to the finish line first as we come to the final length straight..”

Partnerships regularly change. In 5 years time who know who will need a new partner.
In NSW it could be Mounties, Wentie, Newtown, Blacktown or CC. In Queensland it could one of a number fo options who might be looking for a different partner as NRL clubs seek to move to having their own managed systems
Norths themselves have been in bed with half a dozen Sydney clubs. It's ludicrous to suggest an NRL will use them as anything more than afeeder.

thinking the North Sydney Bears is a bigger operation and has more business sense than a publicly listed company like cash converters is astonishingly deluded.
If the guys on the Perth bid are who I think they might be one has major commercial building ownership across perth, one runs a multi million $ mining subsidiary company and one has multiple companies in different markets. All RL people tied to the game here for a long time. I hope it is as they are all seriously coined succesful business people/

None of those teams you speak of are junior district. Mounties and Wenty won't have a comp to play in if they start feeding Parra juniors to Perth.

QLD Cup teams will be wanting to get in on their own

Thast why it could be a win win, having an additional hm, sg and flegg side in Sydney can only be good for player development. No reason Newtown, Mounties or Wentie couldnt be running one is there?

Theres only so may spots and reality is Queensland MIGHT get one more team in next 20 years. Plenty of QRL teams know they'll never get in and want decent partnerships to keep them relevant.

Not upset just genuinely sad how stupid you and your mate are. You are both living advertisements of why education is important.
you need to learn to accept that people will have a different opinion to you and not get so upset by it.
I admire and respect your desire to see your club back, Ive been there myself. Maybe you should reciprocate with accepting that perth people have concerns by a relocation of a sydney club and want to be sure its the best thing for Perth.
