Yes titans should be looking after the northern rivers to about Grafton, and Newcastle does north to about Port Macquarie
And nobody looks inland.
when they set up the wimmin’s game, they missed the opportunity to shift their the focus to other areas. But I guess that’s just the city/seaboard centric culture of Australia to never look beyond developing the coastal capitals.

The New England area of NSW has a population of about 185k.

That's why there isn't and never will be a team there.

It would make a lot of sense (geographically and strategically) for a team from New England/Mid North Coast to join The NRL. from Tamworth to Moree, Armidale, Inverell, right through to Taree and Coffs Harbour - massive RL base.

Mate we have too many clubs now. Those areas individually are too small.

Yeah, you’re probably right. The ship has probably sailed anyway, as Tamworth (with a catchment population pushing 70 000) only has one Rugby League Club left - Norths. They used to be such a strong area with several strong clubs, first and second division.

So how are we tracking? WA looks a bit dead in the short term at least and if you were going to give it to PNG , You'd think today was the day... so ?
What do you all think?
Who's next ? !
