The quality in the English side will get better - their quick bowlers are good, yours are better, and they rely heavily on Root, Stokes, Buttler and to a degree Pope - at home you can rely on Warner and others to chip in around Smith and the SafferThat's a fairly astronomically massive call
You haven’t seen Harris or our fragile middle order yet.Series is already over IMO. Nice while it lasted.
I don't really understand why they didn't bowl - conditions looked helpful, and their pace attack is good - guess they've been burned before, but they're getting burned now too...I think if England had have bowled and has Australia in a position like this one, it would have boded well for the series. This just confirms our worst fears for the series.
Our incredibly fragile batting is why I'm amazed at these outlandish 4 and 5-nil predictions. Root/Stokes are surely going to punish us at some stage, and Starc and Lyon have been passengers for a while on the bowling side of things. We are more than capable of being blitzed for 80 and losing from just about any position hahaI think if England had have bowled and has Australia in a position like this one, it would have boded well for the series.
