We know what Khawaja can do and we know what Harris can't do. But Usman is hardly banging down the door with an impatient 11 v the Lions. I think Harris will be retained for Adelaide and then Boxing Day is fair game.

Good win in the end after the poms showed plenty of ticker yesterday. Still a few passengers in this side, and Smith's form getting concerning (by his own incredible standards)-think thats one ton in his past 10 or 11 tests. Harris has to go, and Starc should too, but the pink ball will save him. Hugely important win in the context of the series, Broad the flog and Anderson may be just about unplayable under lights in Adelaide (and giving them another chance to skittle us in a DN in Hobart is a very interesting decision). Great knock from Head, hopefully a career defining innings!

We saw how unfair it was last season when India batted on a pitch which moved a millimetre.
