1st coach sacked 2016

I hope Brown isn't sacked - I doubt he will be.

He's got the right idea - but he's got by far the youngest and most inexperienced team in the comp paired with the last remaining few of the overpaid plodder group we've been getting rid of.

It's just going to take a lot of time. I don't think the club will have a knee jerk reaction and sack him. I know they got rid of Stone early but he clearly wasn't the right guy to fix the problem - too weak. Brown has shown more starch and guts already than Bennett and Stone did in their entire tenures.

The club is obviously in a very bad place but Brown needs time.

I hate making excuses for the club but the current crop need to be given a bit of leeway I think all things considered.

Browny is also good at identifying and developing talent.

Brown has at least 2 years, safe as houses unless we lose 50 straight, which honestly is a possibility.

Somehow I don't think sacking Brown would magically give us a 1st grade standard team.

No it wouldn't but he does need to have players show improvement.

If they continue to get flogged & show nothing, even he will be sacked.

Having said that, they will win a couple & show promise.

Out of curiosity, when was the last time a coach was sacked in his first year with a new club? I think warriors may have done it in 2012 but i believe that may be the only time a team has done it in the last decade

Barrett isn't the answer to this question. There's a coach sacked every year and no way in the wide world Fulton is going to move him on so quickly.
