That was a terrible review... It was hitting the base of middle FFS...

The only thing he could have thought was that maybe he was hit outside the line...

But bloody hell... Surely the non striker could have told him his off stump was showing...

In fairness though, if I'm Sri Lanka there's four batsmen its reserved for... Dilshan, Jayawardena, Sangakkara and Mathews. Only Mathews was left after that, so Sanga thought it was worth a gamble because in all probability, his dismissal is the game at this point.

He should never have been picked over Matt Henry.

If I look at Milne's bowling.... he's quick, he bowls decent enough line and length... but he doesn't really generate a lot of bounce despite coming over the top with his action quite well, and he's straight up and down. Henry can get bounce and movement, and is reasonably sharp as well. I think both will be very good bowlers for NZ in due time, but on today's evidence I'm not sure Milne should be in the squad, let alone the XI.

I disagree... I like Milne's pace...

But I would have used him mostly for those tricky minnows games... They hate express pace... So you can often skittle them cheaply without having to risk your top bowlers.

But to play him against the better teams is rough... The margin for error is just too small for him at the moment.

Mind you... It's really McCullums call... He obviously likes having Milne as an option in the big games.

Wow Marais, maybe stop with the meat pies chief... pretty obvious the Lankan edged that.

Since when did Vettori turn the ball? Niiice. Him getting turn is showing how stupid Mathews was even more so for bowling his 2-5 leggie for only 2 overs.

Milne - Henry was probably 50:50 I think

I'd like Mills opening with Southee and Boult 1st change tbh

But I would like to see Milne on a really quick track at some stage

Well, thats error #3 from the third umpire. THat definitely carried to Ronchi. Gloves are absolutely certainly under it.

I can't wait for this third umpire to get out in the middle. He's blind with a TV in front of him, he'll need his seeing eye dog out in the middle.

I thought it was out but i guess that SL were probably due some luck...

I thought Malinga was hard done by with that no ball after bowling Ronchi...
