Bushrangers will dominate the ODI side by the next World Cup. Handscomb, Maxwell, Wade, Pattinson. Finch will be back before long. Possibly a few more....

LOL at Ian Healy crapping on about how long the square boundaries are at The Gabba. 79m is nothing compared to the 90m at the MCG (before the 2003-05 redevelopment), 92m at the WACA (before the 2002 redevelopment) and the 95m straight boundary at Adelaide Oval, all in the days when the fence was the boundary. That's the distance from the centre of the pitch to the fence, so from the batting crease is another 7-8 metres, making that straight Adelaide Oval boundary over 100m. Hitting a six over those parts of the ground with an older bat - not to width of David Warner's bat - was something special.

Looking at the wider shot, those ropes at the Gabba could be pushed back further, especially the sections straight down the ground.
