Amazing to think this type of 6, miss, miss, 6 miss, miss, 6 batting is what selectors look for in a Test batsman.

And look at the size of that crowd at the ground!

 What makes it even more embarrassing is that the WACA's capacity has been reduced since 2002.

Now, THIS is a classic ODI between the same two teams at the same venue 16 yrs ago, infront of a 28k sellout crowd, that will be worth watching after today's match if there isn't another game played this evening:

First 4 tests were fine? Rotation policy ruining Australia's series against South Africa and the best Sri Lankan players got injured like Sangakarra and Kulesekera. ODI series with Sri Lanka had two short games and a farcical wash out and a short one here today.

I remember KP once charged McGrath, he got broken ribs for his trouble... Here's hoping the same thing happens to Maxbad..

:lol:That was a fantastic sight to watch, especially after KP badmouthed McGrath before the game

f**k no footwork at all lol. But at least he is smoking them.

Which highlights the negative impact T20 cricket has had on our test team, and the reason why we've been skittled for less than 100 in an innings three times over the past 2 1/2 years in test cricket. Yes, the razzle-dazzle batting looks very glamorous when it comes off, but at test level, you are going to hold out 90+% of the time.
