What a prick, hits the ball straight to the oppositions best fielder and one of the best in the world and takes off leaving his young partner no chance in hell, Collingwood wasnt even rushed

Then again one way to keep your spot is to run out any potential challengers

Tim Paine should have called NO instead of attempting the run. ANy cricket knows it is not Watsons call to make in the first place.

On a slightly different thing. i thought the Poms red outfits were only for Twenty20s. Or is it another case of them having different kits for home and away. Still using blue pads.

Gee Michael Clarke is an average ODI batsman for all the hype of his attacking prowess. So many times I could count that hes just halted our innings.

The problem with the Australian ODI team now is tehy seem to just want to score 250. Which is fine, I dont think you should always aim for 300....but theres been so many times in recent years, particularly recently where we get off to a good start like today and then just cruise along.

Haddin adds a bit to our side but not the same impact losing a Gilly has.
We just play down right boring cricket these days. Clarke use to be a very good ODI player but since becoming a good Test player he has lost his attacking ways.

Solid total in the end, need our new ball bowlers to set up the win.

Special kit just for this series, it looks alot better than their current blue kit, but after this they are sticking with blue for both forms

Cam White has looked a lot more comfortable this tour in the T20 and ODI so far. Perhaps giving him extra responsibility as VC of the T20 team and #3 while Ponting is away for the ODIs is just what he needed.
