If I were to put money on anyone else it would be Cowboys at $2.65.

Brisbane will recover well from the world challenge to absolutely nail the Cowboys.

The Canberra game could also be closer than expected. $4.50 appears very inviting.

There is no way the Raiders are roughly 4 times as bad as Manly. Twice as bad at worst, or is it best?

I had a mate who had a horse racing betting system.

We'd head down to the beach with radio, newspapers, magazines, drinks, chips, unmbrellas (anything to 'sophisticate' the natural environment) and afterwards, we'd call into a T A B on the drive home.

I think Saints and Souths are good value for the price/return , Dave has a point the Sharks should win at shark park on a saturday night but the return for Penrith in what should be a close game makes it maybe worth a small gamble . From memory In last years round 1 match at Brisbane didn't the cowboys beat the Broncos 40 to 4 or someting like that ? And did'nt they beat the Broncos in both games of the regular season ?

Agreed. There's a ton of talk over the Raiders loss to Broncos/Redcliffe in the trails but they recovered well in the next trial against Wests Tigers. Mug punters are setting the odds at this stage.
Raiders could easily upset Manly and at $4.50, its a good roughie to back.
