Yep not good at all, 160 after the start we got is dam poor. Not happy Smith wasn't sent in before Johnson, been rubbish from him so far.

Haddin saves us with a quickfire 37 off 16 balls. Windies will struggle to chase this with the form their in.

Gayle didn't need Bollinger to get out, gets clean bowled by Tait. Tait was on a hattrick but kept out.

Johnson has been hopeless with the bat this summer!! I think he needs to get back to hitting and stop worrying about being a batsmen!!

The commentators summed it up nicely, Johnson is premeditating too much in the shorter forms, whereas Test hes picking the ball to go. No way should he be above Smith again and Smith should be a lot higher, first NSW wasted his batting talent now Australia are.

Awesome spell by Tait.

They can't put Smith much higher in the batting line up though!! He should be coming in in front of Johnson though.

Yeh but that means you need to drop Birt and replace him with who??? Haddin is batting too low though should be in ahead if Birt and probably Hussey IMO.

Smith and bring in Hauritz or Lee. Or we can put Christian in there.

Ah Smith makes fielding look so easy :)

West Indies problems:

Terrible batting middle order - Simmons, Morton, Deonarine, Hinds and Dowling (who didn't play yesterday) are all bloody average. Their batting depth beyond the key players of Chanderpaul, Sarwan, Bravo and Barath has been truly exposed.

No bowling balance - Roach, Taylor and Edwards are all much of the same (skillful but inconsistent fast bowlers with little variation or seam/swing), but unfortunately Rampaul and Tonge are similar too (line-and-length medium pacers who are barely Test class). Darren Sammy and Dwayne Smith are carbon copies of eachother too, very slow medium pace bowlers who should NEVER be considered for Tests - these are limited overs only bowlers who can give the ball a fair biff every now and then down the order too. They could also do with a left-arm bowler, try bringing back the apparently in form Pedro Collins?

Poor fielding - this has already been covered alot.

They need to get everyone fully fit soon, and fast, to field a proper lineup:

Chris Gayle
Adrian Barath
Shiv Chanderpaul
Ramnaresh Sarwan
Brendan Nash (Pollard in Tests)
Dwayne Bravo
Denesh Ramdin
Suliemenn Benn (Miller in ODIs)
Ravi Rampaul/Gavin Tonge (Sammy/Smith in ODIs)
Kemar Roach
Pedro Collins
