Shaky start by the Aussies.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl.

Maxwell and Warner opening for Australia.

0/4 after 1.2.

our 3/263 is the highest team t20i score ever

that score betters most of out test innings on tour

That has to be some sort of record from the toyman.

Seems that he is only any good at one form of the game so he should just stick to T20

Not quite, Finchy has 150 plus vs the poms

The guy obviously has talent, if his temperament (brain snaps - 6 of every 2nd ball attitude) adapted better to each format of the game, he could be outstanding as our no6 in the test side, handy with his offies as well. Until he gets some solid scores in FC to prove his worth, should be nowhere near the test side

yeh but how many balls did Finch take ?

Toyman got dropped from our ODI team so it will take more than 1 innings for him to get back.

He can only bat on a flat track, he does not have the technique to play on a test pitch imo

I don't think his technique is that bad, it's his temperament which is Afridi like.

Sadly like Afridi I don't think he will ever figure it out. When a spinner as bad as Holland is an option the show if he wasn't such an Arseclown should be an option.

The big no had a point to prove. When the toys are on he's close to unstoppable. Unfortunately he's got no toys near his brain.

He also only thinks of himself when batting and not the team situation. Which makes him perfectly suited for the t20 circus.

263 is a new team record, 156 by Finch remains the individual record.
