I tell you what

If Bell and Cook are around till stumps, then it will be a serious game on.

We need to at the very least have Broad batting by stumps, so another 3 wickets please at the very least

So basically you admit you were wrong about declaring then you idiot

I would have batted until there was only 2 possibilities. Win or draw. Imagine if the catastrophic happens and we lose. Declaring on day THREE will be seen as crazy. Why would you give a team more than 2 days to chase a total at a very doable runrate.

That's what I've been saying. I don't think we need 3 but if we don't break this partnership by stumps I'll have us as no better than 60% favourites.

If Bell and Cook make it to the end of play batting on a rain affected deteriorating gabba pitch .

They are the 2 greatest batesman to ever live.

The chance of England winning this test match is 0.00000006% or 3 x the chance of HAH getting back in the Australian team this summer.

So you would have given England the chance to save the game? You're a f**king moron

And you wanted to give us a day to bowl them out ffs

And instead we've given them a chance to win the game.

At the start of a team batting 4th no matter what the circumstances they'll always either have a chance to play for a draw or play for a win. Declaring on day 3 gives them a chance to win. Declaring just before Lunch on day 4 like I would have would remove winning as a possibility.

Batting for 5 and a half sessions for a draw is harder to do than batting 6 and a half sessions for a win.

They've scored 100 runs in 44 overs ffs do they look like they're chasing the game???
