Commences Thursday week

I think the best we are gonna do is draw this series, worst case lose.
Don't think we can win 3 tests, highly unlikely to almost impossible I think

No day/night test, and no Gabba test, thank you whinging India.

On the other coin if we do manage to win, it will be the LOL @ India bigtime

If there is a bit of juice in the pitches our pace attack is more than good enough to keep us competitive.

But this is Cricket Australia and we're playing India so it will be roads galore.

I'm predicting 0-0 after 4 tests.

I mean, India have literally never won a test series out here.

First time for everything and I definitely wouldn't be shocked if they did, but I can't give them favouritism for the series.

Will be a tight series though I reckon. Us being shit and them being shit out here might be good for the series lol

Kholi struggled against our attack in India. Kholi is going to have his big innings sure, but as long as it's not a big series overall.

It's a roll of the dice as to how our batting is going to perform.

I expect Kohli will score buckets of runs. However, if his team mates don't help him out they will still lose, just like last time.

England struggled big time against our pace attack last year, and I just can't see India playing them any better.

First test last year was at the GABBA November 23-27 - we haven't lost there is a few decades
- we wont play india at the Gabba

2nd ashes test was the d/n at Adelaide
- India did not want to play d/n

Poms were broken 2-0 down going to Perth

Steve Smith was our top run scorer 687 runs at 137.40 in 7 innings
Warner was 3rd 441 runs at 63.00 7 innings

They both wont be there

We will be relying heavily on the Marsh brothers to get our runs and a fit Khawaja
SMarsh 445 runs 74.17 - 7 innings
MMarsh 320 runs 106.67 - 4 innings
Khawaja 333 runs 47.57 7 innings

India wont get it this easy to beat us

I expect the 4 flattest decks ever thanks to CA, 4 draws coming up.

Would not surprise me in the slightest about flat decks

Not sure about 4 draws

India win the 1st test, then possible 3 draws, as they will bat excessively from then on

Adeilaide is a turning pitch and will suit their attack, f**k not playing at the Gabba, this is playing into their hands, if they cant win a test series now, they never will

Despite no Gabba Test, the likelihood of roads, 2 x Darshes, the most inept top 6 in decades and Smiffy on the sidelines, I still think India will need a bit more to go their way to get that first series win. Our quicks should still have India's measure and they're going to be the one's who'll win it for us IMO. If the top 6 can just try and not be completely shit *too* much (and at home, that shouldn't be too much to ask), we should be right for a drawn series at least. If our quicks don't put in a good performance, then we're obviously toast.

Can’t imagine the MCG will be as much of a road as last year on account of the warning they got from the ICC. Still expect it to be more than batting friendly, though.

I haven't been as confident of a home Test series loss since the Ashes in 2010\11. I threw $20 on England to win that series 3-1 which was paying $15 so that was a nice way to lessen the disappointment of losing that Ashes series.

I don't see us winning a Test. I'm thinking 2 or 3 nil, have a feeling weather might ruin 1 Test, and one bore-a-thon draw in either Melbourne or Adelaide... And I just checked and India winning 2 nil is paying $15... History repeating maybe...

I think this suits Australia just as much as India. Kumar and Bumrah would be a handful under lights.

Day/night game was the one we looked most like losing against England. Australia plays the swinging ball as bad as India.
