Their opening bats both out when score on 7.
Australias opening bats were 0/128 at one point.

Pakistans 3,4,5,6 and 7 bats made 426 (lowest score 53)
Australias 3,4,5,6 and 7 bats made 78 (top score 27)

I wouldn't put past Notch getting a ton if okeefe stays with him

8/285

I guess we'd be over the moon if we get over 350 from here

If only we were still batting in brisbane :(

Piss poor effort after the great start, scary to think what chucker Ajmal would have done to us.

The lead is now 189. I'm confident we can chase down 700 on the last day so whatever Pakistan score today is irrelevant. :sarcasm:

We need to keep their lead to less than 300. A score of in between 250 and 300 will still be very difficult to get but it's at least doable. Once you hit that 300 figure all sorts of mind games start to come into things.

Pakistan favourites to win just ahead of a draw.

I think we can force a draw, this is exactly the type of pitch we need more experience on

a lot will depend on how the pitch wears from here on

Pakistan should get a lead of around 350, they only need just over 150 more runs.

If it doesn't rain I can't see Australia getting out of this one.

In 2140 previous test matches a side has only chased down 300 or more 10 times.

Thank you, come again.

How many of those test matches had an inform Davey Warner? He is a game winner. And sure even assuming Rogers and Doolan fail again he has got some worldclass support in Clarke, Smith, Haddin. All blokes that can smash spinners.

Davey gets his 150 and those 3 get 50 each. We can chase 350 in 4 sessions.

I'm not totally sure on the figures but I would suggest that the likes of Bradman, Lara, Ponting, Tendulkar, Miandad, Sobers, Gilchrist, Barrington, Hutton, Chappell, Zaheer, Richards, Richards, Richardson, Greenidge, Laxman, Sangakarra, Crowe, Hammond, Worrell, Weekes, Inzamanun, Hayden, Waugh, Walters, Amla, Haynes, Border, Kallis, Dravid, Or Gavaskar would have featured in a lot of those tests that didn't see a team chase over 300 in the fourth innings.

As for the 3 teams who have scored 350 or more to win in the 4th innings? I'll get back to you.
