Never heard of Kurtis Patterson...is he a good selection? I see he did pretty well in a tour match last week v Sri Lanka- has he batted his way into the side in one match?

He’s been a consistent performer in shield cricket for 5 years now. Averages 41, has historically had a problem converting 50’s to 100’s.

This time, he got what he wanted and will shift off in to the commentary sunset after this test. Ironically, will be replaced by Gilly again.
