The Canberra deck will be interesting. Later in the summer it's often very flat, hard to avoid when it's basically a pottery oven down here. And it's been fking hot already and will be back around the forties as of tomorrow too... It can obviously break up as a result

I’ve bought tickets for the first two days. Looking forward to it.

Sri Lanka win the toss and will bat first.

I guess we get an early look at what Richardson can do.

Do we know that for sure though? Not only have we never seen a test there, we usually only see one FC match there a year?

What does a well-worn Canberra deck look like?

Other than Perth (new) and Auckland (rarely used now) are there any other test grounds in the world that don't really see any FC cricket?
Ill guess low and slow.

I think Lee said Pucovski and Patterson should both be there in commentary last night.

Lesbiana should be playing grade cricket. That's about his level
Better than Lehmann who was surprised Jhye was picked ahead of Siddle. Surprised because selectors rarely get it right?

I know his pain.... Coin toss is fifty/fifty is the biggest myth in the world lol

I remember playing a season of Cricket 5 or 6 years ago where our Captain must have come close to a 75-80% loss rate at the coin toss.

I don't mind Laburadoodle at 6. He actually has a bit of a dig, unlike some of the pea hearts we've seen this summer.
I agree although his record is average he does seem to show some good qualities. But he is the first number 3 I know of who scored a "well made" 38.

Never heard of Kurtis Patterson...is he a good selection? I see he did pretty well in a tour match last week v Sri Lanka- has he batted his way into the side in one match?
