I reckon India aren't the side they used to be. Kholi has declined. Pant is a huge out.

I'm calling it: Australia 4 nil, top wicket taker and run scorer Ashton Agar, man of the series David Warner/Billy Slater.

Kholi played 3 tests last time we were over there in 2017, for 40 runs in total

Hope he has declined further :D

Last series was good. 4th test had some crucial dropped catches that could have turned it for us.

I'm optimistic. More than any other tour of India since 2004.

Head is a better spinner than Agar ffs.

Agar actually make the boat look like a decent spinning option

How can Agar be picked after last test?? He clearly showed he isn’t a test spinners arsehole.
"makes the changeroom lively"
"fun to be around"

There have been players in the past picked for those reasons, but at least they were young.

Bigger squad is good. Renshaw seen as an opener or middle order so makes sense Harris is gone.

No clear back up for Green. Probably Mitch Marsh but he is injured.

Handscombe was picked because of his ability to play spin, allegedly.

And as a backup keeper, you'd assume.

He's good against spin and now that he's remembered front foot shots are allowed he's in the runs. No issues with having him in the squad tbh.

Like the squad. Handscomb deserves his spot. Topping the runs in the Shield, good against spin and has some previous experience playing Tests in India. Definitely a better back up option than Harris.

Also, probably with a view to Warner's inability to make runs in India but surely Davey gest the first few tests, shame we don't have any lead in first class games.

Good to see the feather ruffler there although I doubt he'll get a game, but just having him there will have the Indians quaking in fear.

I assume Hanscombe is an emergency keeper only and if Carey does get injured Josh Inglis will be flown in. You can't have a guy who wears his pads under his pants keeping in tests.

Are we allowed to fly over a keeper if Carey gets injured?

Sheffield Shield games will be on , surely someone in mind , if allowed to fly someone out , whilst getting red ball games beforehand. edit: as AG mentioned fly over Inglis if he is next in line

Would assume Handscomb can be the concussion keeper on tour .
