I wouldn't put anything past them, they have a win at any cost attitude. I don't think they care too much about what anyone thinks of them.

I am not sure a 2-day sandpit/dustbowl helps India as those pitches heavily favour the team batting first which makes the result a bit of coinflip. They prepared dustbowls the first two tests last tour and nearly went 2-0 down. The 3rd and 4th test were more traditional Indian wickets and they completely outplayed us in these games. In the Sri Lanka tour last year, we won the first game on a shit wicket and lost the second on a better deck.

The scene is looking set for us to unleash Agar on Team India, and regain the Border/Gavaskar trophy

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green remains in severe doubt to be fit to take on India in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series next week.

Green sustained a broken finger during the Boxing Day Test which abruptly ended his summer, and while he had already been ruled out of bowling in Nagpur, Australian captain Pat Cummins confirmed the 23-year old ‘hasn’t been able to do a lot’ in preparation for the match

Renshaw went ok last time in India, give him Greens spot for the first test. Need players in the team who are ready to go now.

From Memory in 2017 the pitches weren't too bad.

Pune was a dustbowl last time and backfired first up on them which was hilarious.

So they sedated it a touch in Bangalore but it broke up late.

Ranchi was a slow road.

Dharamshala was a decent wicket just we were mentally cooked from a big series and couldn't push ourselves anymore.

It was missed opportunity over there.

I am travelling around NZ next week will be in Queenstown for the first 4 days of the test.

Hopefully there is some pubs overthere showing it i am pumped for it.

If you get the ferry across the bay, a mate of mine will be driving you. He also had a lodge there. Too f**king cold for me.

Not good

But we have Feathers waiting in the ....wings

Josh Hazlewood is set to miss at least the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against India, which begins on Thursday, due to an injury.

The pace bowler is expected to be unavailable for the opening Test in Nagpur due to the left Achilles injury which has been troubling him since the SCG win over South Africa last month.

It is likely to leave the Aussies without three bowling options - the 32-year-old plus Mitchell Starc (finger) and Cameron Green (finger, may play but unlikely to bowl unless his recovery continues at a rapid pace).

It would leave Scott Boland as the most likely man to partner Pat Cummins, with Lance Morris next in line.

Hazlewood has become one of the premier T20 bowlers in the last couple of years. Wouldn't surprise me if he pulls the pin on test cricket after the Ashes and cashes in.

Hazelwood having a lot of bad luck…

just read a story where Cummins said they’ll pick an attack to get 20 wickets, then it was suggested that attack would be him, Boland, Lyon and Agar…. Too funny
