geez, he should have dumped Bingle ages ago

I've only seen a handful of balls over 130 today, seems the kiwis are more intent on containment

Well they got a huge chunck of runs in the bank so fair enough, now up to the Black Caps to navigate the bowlers and stay in this game.

He never should have been given the chance to save his career IMO
Get over it. You guys are never happy unless you have the whole NSW team on the park.

Well done to Marcus North btw. A very good innings under pressure.

McIntosh is supposedly in the team for his patience and temperament- he is worse at running people out than Simon Katich

North with his career saving 100.

To be honest, if North didn't score a century against the worse bowling attack in history of test match cricket with the pressure he was under he should never be allowed near the side

But who am I kidding

He could have had a pair in this test and he still would have made the next test.

In fact, North could score no more test runs for the rest of this calender year and still be selected in the side.

But that is what happens when you are Ponting's boyfriend.

Absolutely.

The problem is now North can fail for the next 20 tests and still see his name in the side, while other plays can for fail for a few tests and find their names on the outer.

But thats what happens when you are Pontings boyfriend

lol, you guys play favourites just as much as the selectors do. Australia were 4/170 odd, had North and/or Clarke fallen cheaply then we may have struggled to get 300.

Yet only one of those players will get any praise.
