I reckon it will be decent to bat on for another day so we have to still be there at stumps and after that it will be a lottery.

Id say we need a great day today, and bat deep into day 4. A long shot but its the only thing to do if we are gonna force a draw

Runs wont come quick, so an average of 80 runs a session max id imagine, by end of day 3 we will be 270, still a mile behind

Hoping the pitch stays ok for batting, and a couple of our guys get really big tons , otherwise we are toast, which is the way many think will happen

To have any chance of salvaging a draw, lasting the day is mandatory.

If we don't the Paki's will blast our weary bowlling attack to all parts, setting 500+ and give themselves 4-5 sessions to knock us out.

A draw from here would be a damn good result with this side. Can’t see it happening but as long as they play tough and try and draw the game out as long as they can.

This was on the cards given the lack of grass on the pitch even on the first day. A true acid test for our boys today. A solid start tho.. and Ussie thrives on confidence. Finch has to play his natural game otherwise why pick him. We will soon see if our efforts to improve our spin play over past 2 years have paid off.
