Multiple South Africans appeal vociferously for LBW.
Umpire says not out.
Not even a hint of referral.
Therefore, appeal was attempt at cheating, knowing it was not out.

All turning awful for the Jaapies if Morkel's hurt and Steyn has the squirts

VERY disappoionting crowd. This is for the #1 rated nation against the #1 contenders.
Australian crowds peak when we are #1 or underdogs with a great chance. SA are currently #1 and fighting to retain that. SA crowds were poor when #1 against #2 (India) and now when facing their greatest adversary. To my knowledge there is no big sporting event fighting for attention (ie SA are not huge fans of the Winter Olympics for example.)

Test cricket is as good as ever. The SA media ought to lift their game, and the SA Cricket Association ought not complin when they are not included in the revamped ICC, for then failing to generate interst in this contest is an abysmal failure.

Very happy to be proven wrong by Marsh. He did not deserve his selection. But I'm glad he led our fightback and put us in a very good position. Hope he gets many more hundreds.

At this stage all indications suggest Hughes will only return as an opener when Rogers retires.

Like many other players in the past, Hughes will only benefit from his time out of the team. He needs to keep plundering runs in Shield and bide his time.

Oh what a shame LOL:lol:

as a Kiwi, this is kinda fun... obviously we have no love for Aussie cricket, but we hate Jaapies - long union history etc... and now Kallis is gone, nothing to like there... respect sure, but they are an arrogant bunch of f**ks, even more arrogant than you lot

so you speak for everyone in Kiwiland ?

I find all this injury stuff rather ironic as when we played them in Perth last year we had a completely revised bowling attack and they dusted us real good

now the boots on the other foot, these guys are potentially gonna be affected by injuries in the next test yet their depth has never been tested

they seem to be the fittest players in world cricket and yet have no rotation system

interresting times ahead
