Ugh, what was the point of this match? Both sides strengths are their attacks and we've seen a million runs for 2 wickets.

Yeah me too, hope they look at his big test innings where he demolished attacks, and the steady hand he played in almost getting us a win vs the kiwis on a unstable deck where everyhone else failed. Plus what he brings to the field instead of the likes of a cowan, hughes or khawaja, plus look at his test average compared to everyone else bar clarke
The exact same could be said about Hughes except it happened 2 weeks ago instead of 2 years ago and in an Ashes test, not a random 2 test series against kiwis.

Warner got 50 more than Maxwell here and about 70 less than Elgar. And another bloke averageing less than 30 got a century aswell. Warner does not deserve a test spot based on this.

And if he does come into the team Rogers and especially Watson should be dropped long before Hughes.

Incorrect

plenty of batsman have hung around not out in the first innings, hardly call that almost getting us the winn

It was a pressure-less half ton, as Agar proved

Now had he scored not out 81 in the 2nd dig of that game, totally difference scenario, then you can put him with that Warner knock as the pressure would have been 10 fold

We're struggling but The Big Show is here.

God help us all if he gets a ton here. Some f**kwit in CA will think its a good idea to bring him into the Ashes squad for this tour or at least the 2nd series.
