All the best for your operation on Wednesday and wishing you a speedy recovery.
You got me in SuperCoach by about 12 I think.
It came down to Moses v Thompson in the last match but you had too big a lead.
macemaceman you still have a big chance of winning,I once had over 80 points added to my overnight score.
It's never over till the fat lady sings with supercoach, good luck mate!

Good luck to you also tbunny58,yes mate it would be interesting to know how many Bunnies supporters have had heart problems.
I'm trying to work out a law suit against News Limited for duress caused in 2000-2001!

Good luck with it mate! I am down to St Vincents for a stent next Wednesday. I blame the Bunnies for this!

Haha, if you two pass away due to heart problems it certainly won't be from a lack of sense of humour! ;)

Take care mate. Yeah lads my Father has heart disease. Had a 99,95 and 85percent blockages around the 3 major heart valves. They did stents as they said at 54yrs old he's too young for that at this stage. He see's Dr Yousuf at Miranda.

It is all hereditary in the family though. His Mum has had a 5 heart bypass.

So I am susceptible too it too!

Oi @Itsamansgame my Dad gave away the smokes too about 14 years ago and he has lollies instead which is not great as he has diabetes but better than the smokes. He did put weight on but that's normal.

I know smokers who have went on those e-cigarettes too mate!

I'll be praying for you in general Itsa and if you need to whinge or talk I'm only a PM away mate!

My Father also had a mild stroke 19 years ago!

He's had shocking blockages in his legs too!

They picked up the heart blockages when he had his turned gangrene gall bladder out. In that surgery it was lucky they found it as only a tinny tiny bit was where the blood was getting through to his heart and it set the monitors off. He could've died anyday.

That's just a snippet mate. Not all of it. Had severe ongoing pancreatitis too and septaesemia. Currently has a couple of ulcers too and severe anxiety and OCD! Bleeding in the bowel as well. Diverticulitis I think. Plus he can't stand up long. Has to keep sitting down due to another problem they haven't diagnosed yet!

There is more too but I can't remember it all! Yeah a very rough trot mate!

We all have our problems though brother.

I'm also going through a few health stuff currently Itsa but I'd rather not disclose that on our open forum on here.

Wish I could wave the magic wand and all would be good for us all, but we will move forward and fight the good fight!
Love to brother Callmack
You'll be right too mate.

As good as new in about a month after the recovery. Probably have a bit more energy too!

Did you have any symptoms in the lead up like a few hours before, or it was just so sudden??

After the surgery do they keep you sedated and not awake for like 72hours??

This thread is actually quite timely for my family and I. I wish to share this with you all so you're not left wondering what's going on with me.

Sadly, my much loved Grandad suffered a massive heart attack on Friday night which was very traumatic for all involved as he had to be revived numerous times and was not in a good way at all. He had to be air lifted to Waikato Hospital (the major Hospital for heart stuff over here) where he kept his fight going but it didn't look good. My whole family and I spent two days in ICU but things weren't looking good since when they started to bring him out of sedation, he showed signs of no (to not much) brain function.

It is with great sadness that we had to let him go on Sunday afternoon and he passed peacefully surrounded by family.

I'm absoulutely devastated. You know it's coming, you just don't expect it to be that sudden and that soon. Him and I were also incredibly close and he was the biggest mentor in my life outside of my parents so yea, words can't describe the hurt I'm feeling. I just loved him so, so much.

R.I.P Grandad, love you forever and for always. One of my biggest mentors, one of my harshest critics, one of my favourite men. When I'm your age, I hope I'm half the man you were.

Sending thoughts and prayers once again Callmack as you know! You take care and be with all the family.

I'm am extremely and utterly saddened by the news.

I can tell both your parents and Grandfather brought you up very well!

RIP to your Grandad. A great great man!
