2 South Sydney Players rushed to hospital

These blokes need to thank the mate that called 000, could well prove to have saved their lives.

All he needs now is a number for a shrink to pass onto both of these players.

But I'm sure they'll be perceived as victims, and will receive bedside counseling.

But the damage control you might say so far has worked for the Souths image.

The powers behind this club would have been ringing around and offering "favours" to publicise this event in the best possible light.

Four Corners episode,here we come.

Don't forget a "very special" tell all interview on the footy show/60 minutes with Karl Stefanovic

another f**kwit circle jerker! they made the top 4 in 2010 and 2011 and were favoured to win the comp in 2012, but i stopped supporting them at the end of 2011, so obviously it wasn't for on-field reasons. if it was a bandwagon jump it would have been to a club that had won a premiership in the last few decades, at the time. on field results don't change my support. never has, never will!

They are too dumb too understand this.

This is a great top quality post alien.

You have spoken the complete truth!

Can't we just have one thread devoted to ridiculing alien. You assholes derail every thread. :(

They need to get over it.

I replied to a post of alien's above.

Ram raid it explains the truth in it tbh. You should have a read of it.

You can get dissillusioned with your own club
I can tell you that with some authority
Maybe your passion does start to die off a bit
... But to just change clubs is atrocious

Exactly
Even if your club is no longer in the top grade, you just don't change clubs. Even when souths were excluded from the comp and it looked like they'd never return i remained loyal to them. You just continue on as a neutral supporter. Or you support certain players instead of a team. In the time souths were gone i was a huge Nathan Hindmarsh fan, and the parra team were playing good football, but there would be no way on hell I'd buy a parra jumper. Souths were still my team. Through thick and thin. The tough years when we had no team, or when we came back in and were only winning 3 games a year (and we celebrated those wins like a grand final win). Putting up with years of mis management poor recruitment (shannon f**ken Hegarty as a maequee player!!!) It wasn't easy, which made 2014 so good. I don't hate bandwaggoners, if their money is helping the club then bleed them dry, but i know 2014 didn't feel anywhere as good as it did for us true long term fans

You're clearly a man of taste, class and decorum, and I approve this message.

And if you're a souths fan who gets angered at Lol@souths then you haven't supported souths for long because for a while there we were a joke of a club. The only thing you could do was laugh. I'm talking about having Paul langmack as coach because he was the only guy in the club with a coaches certificate. Lol@souths was a legitimate thing and we should worry that we might slip back into those days. If you've only supported the club for the last 5 years i guess you'd be offended by Lol@souths, but i true fan would of been used to it by now after the decade of mediocrity (2000-2010) and it should just be like water of a ducks back by now. Obviously you've never been laughed at for wearing a rabbitohs jumper like the rest of us were in the early 2000s

Lots of truth telling here, but let the record show that alien has only been a fan for less than that.

Slightly disagree. I was a bears fan as a kid, when the god awful merger happened i didnt follow the Northern Eagles but did follow the bears players in the squad.

When that went to shit I was in my early teens so decided to follow melbourne as I was born there.

But now that im an adult i wouldn't think of changing teams again, even if the bears did get back in.

Borderline acceptable.

Exemption granted.

As an 11 year old I chose to follow Freddy across to the Roosters to support ARL over Super League.

I think that was a fair reason for swapping clubs as a kid... although it definitely wouldn't be possible now as an adult.

What's a decade when you've been following them for over forty years - where the highlights were winning a midweek and preseason comp and winning one semi-final.

Heck I've even lol@Souths myself.

No matter how you try spin it , it's bad for our club and to think we can get away from this unscathed is delusional

This.

This wasn't an accident. Neither a hanging offence.

But they were dickheads and incredibly lucky.
