Probably more likely they have been on it for days and smashed a few Endones in to them for the comedown.

Oxy is hillbilly heroin. Why are doctors prescribing endones to players anyway ? They cant be in that much pain.

From what John Lee was saying at the press conference just then it sounds like they were in a pretty bad way and are lucky there was someone with them at the time to call 000. They've been sedated for medical reasons for most of the day and are still not able to communicate properly.

Thoughts are with their families right now.

Absolute nothing article. Complete and utter media beatup. They were making it out like they were on a roid-heroin-ice cocktail. Simple accident to do with prescription legal medication. Move on. Nothing to see here. Private medical issue.

It's been reported they used more than the prescribed amount
Either they have miss used the drugs intentionally or weren't given clear enough instructions on how to use this drug or the consequences of not following the recommended prescription. Either way it's stupidity and has brought bad publicity on the club. Both players will be slurred as junkies by sections of the nrl fan base no matter what the official outcome to this is, souths will continue be seen as a club that fosters bad behavior.
No matter which way we try spin it , stupidity is heavily involved here.

The goanna and his missus was a private medical issue too when she went for the ice packs.

You should open up your own Media Communications-Spin Company.

So souths have said that they were at home 'watching movies' and took the wrong amount of pain killers. Seems like a perfectly normal thing for two 20 year old males to have been doing when they've been taken to hospital in a coma having over dosed on prescription meds.

Given how open and honest the club was over the Arizona incident I think we can take their word for it.

It was. No criminal conviction means no evidence of a crime. And we don't live in North Korea. We live in Australia, in this country we have the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. And that presumption goes for everyone, including players of teams you dislike.

You dont just simply overdose on pain killers unless you are trying to do so..

If you are taking more than 2 or 3 of the same medication at once you aren't accidently doing it, especially if you are doing it with a mate at the same time.

Also, when was their surgery? Had they been taking the normal prescribed dose for a day or 2 before this incident? If so, that null and voids any accident as they claim.
