The South Sydney Rabbitohs can confirm that the health status of its players, Dylan Walker and Aaron Gray, remains good.
The young men have now been moved from the Intensive Care Unit into a private ward.
Doctors still have a series of protocols and tests that need to be worked through before a decision can be made on when the young men will be permitted to leave hospital.
Rabbitohs CEO John Lee said: "The families of both players have thanked everyone who has offered their well wishes and support over the past few days.
"They have also thanked the media for the respect and privacy that has been shown to them and the boys.
"There will be an appropriate time to debrief on what has happened in this situation, but at the moment our focus remains on the wellbeing of the young men."
Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire added: "All of our efforts and thoughts at the moment are with Dylan, Aaron and their families.
"Ive made a few visits to see the boys over the past few days and its really reinforced the significance of family, and how important their parents are to them in their lives.
"Ive spoken to their team mates and they have all offered their support to the Walker and Gray families during what is a difficult time for them.
"We look forward to the continued improvement in their health.".
