I’m not very familiar with the geographic spread of Brisbane, but I figured the Jets is a great team name, their colours aren’t prominent in the NRL, so they could cover the south/outer south of Brisbane. Whether they would be callled south Brisbane, south Queensland, western Brisbane or just Ipswich, I’m not sure. Their direct rivals would be the dolphins. Once again, could be called Moreton Bay, North Brisbane, Redcliffe or Sunshine Coast, I’m not sure.

Ipswich covers a big portion of the outer Western Brisbane suburbs and districts. I think they'd be better of keeping their name of Ipswich as it's already an established brand out that way and the rural folk well past Ipswich follow them. I even know people out that way who prefer to go watch the Jets over the Broncos as it's too far for them to go all the way in to Suncorp. The population out that way is also growing bigger and bigger with all the developments happening out that way (much like western Sydney).

I'd say if any area of Brisbane deserves an expansion it would be out at Ipswich.

Since they're my team, ill let you in on a little secret, they've dropped the name penrith off the logo for quite sometime now, yet we all still refered to them as penrith all the time, still carry websites for penrithpanther.com, etc still brand things with Penrith on it, but the logo branding is simply "Panthers" as in either penrith or bathurst or.... whatever area that may be in the future.
I'm pretty sure they are keen on representing a much bigger area west of Sydney, which currently stretches from st.marys to bathurst and possibly upto dubbo, if one day they decide to use that name they can, i would use GWS, Greater Western Sydney it would be more fitting

The Sydney Roosters did something similar in 2000 by dropping the 'City' part of their name. There were two reasons for this, 1) Renaming to 'Sydney' was more inclusive and didn't pidgeon-hole them to just the City/East of Sydney, and 2) The Olympics were on and they wanted to capitalise on people wanting 'Sydney' branded things. Selling themselves' as 'Sydney's team' allowed for more merch to be sold.

As for Panthers or any team representing the Greater West, I'd avoid using the GWS moniker in favour of West(ern) Sydney or find a way to not include the Sydney part to the name (like Wests Tigers) as the Sydney tag might alienate those in rural areas who don't associate themselves with the big smoke.

Wellington Orcas. Also not very familiar with the layout of NZ and wether the second NZ team should represent just Wellington or the whole South Island or the whole of NZ while the warriors go back to just Auckland. I’m not sold on the Orcas name either, but it is unique and I haven’t heard any other good suggestions.

Could use the Kea bird for a second NZ team as they are vicious af. I'm pretty sure the Warriors badge looks a bit like a Kea head though. Just an alternate idea to the Orcas.

Open to suggestions of other Maori names for things too. I think that would be pretty cool.

Southern Keas, green, black & brown.. based in Christchurch. That would do well :)
