Just putting it out there but if anyone has a copy of the 2002 final v Saints game would love to get it! Or if anyone knows where to get it let me know.
Was at the game but had bad seats and got really smashed. Only highlights i remember were Ryles try and Birdy with the winner!

I was sitting in the eastern upper deck in line with southern? goal line ... and I remember after maybe the second last try we scored, when it was just totally over, hearing all our fans singing Up Up Cronulla ... it was magic. And I remember Phil Bailey let in maybe Gasnier or someone pretty easy one on one early in the game, and then he got one of his own back against him and he got up and threw the ball at Gasnier with a look that would kill ... thats when I realised Bails was much more than just an Opes lover ...

I saw that game.... I actually watch the match.

Matt Johns got injured and never played for us again. Best thing that ever happened. He cost us Preston Campbell. His signing is the reason we are where we are now.

Also Greg Bird went himself and scored. I am sure Beau Scott was somehow involved with the Dragons then.

The match the week after still bugs me. Why did Peachey kick?
