This has been my take on the Ronnie thing.
He wants to go to market to see what his worth is, but only as a guide to what is an acceptable offer from us.
Provided there's not too much of a discrepancy, I can't see him going anywhere.

I reckon he gets announced before the end of the month, if not sooner.

I really hope that is the case - he says he loves the club and his team mates, and they say the same in return… and it all looks very genuine. And I’ve said many times, our wingers are elite, our back line as a whole is not where our weaknesses are.
I’d love to keep him. My worry is though that he’ll attract some monster offers - if we can keep him at ‘decent’ winger money, then I’d love for him to stay, but winger is not a position I’d be willing to get into a bidding war over, especially if we can get Stoney on relatively low coin. If Ronnie is gonna cost us $600k+, or we can have Stoney for maybe $300k/$350k, then for me, we have to wish Ronnie all the best for the future.
