Ok f***wit, most people are tipping us for the spoon and we are discussing why we beleive we won't get it. Whats so bad about that? If we get it then everyone will be right and we'll look like a bunch of idiots.
Everyone except you of course because you've tipped the Tigers to get the spoon.. Man look at all those quotes and responses from you... Looks like it's not just your team that has issues......

Monghan scored the most tries for the raiders... how isn't that a loss :|

no loss because our depth is good now in the backline now
Schif
Graham
Mogg
Frawley
Chalk

on his current form he isnt anywhere near any of those blokes, he scores lollipop trys, hardly ever creates something himself. Not in season 04 anyways, hopefully for him it was 2nd year syndrome and he will come good for the roosters but as far as canberra are concerned i dont see it as a significant loss, we have more then enough quality personel to replace him and improve in that area

as you were aware he had an injury which takes time to get over - and he had lost a lot of faith in the Canberra administration...Watch Mono go next year with a better team. You only have to ask yourself "why did he play for the Roosters when he was offerred more money by both manly and Canberra"?

One reason that Canberra will underperfrom is because something is drastically wrong with the Canberra administration - and the players were sick to the death of it last year

Your Gold Coast quote proves you have no clue....... We weren't the ones forced to Merge and yet to make the semi's junior.....We won't come last, and who do you have????????Scott Prince, a half decent half would have been QLD No.7 if there were one to choose from, and Benji Marshall is yet to impress, he can sidestep....WOW and Whaituria would not be NZ centre if the rest like Lolesi, Toopi and Vagana were in form....your team isn't ready for the speed of light either

What would you prefer the central coast?

Such faith in ones untested players. Guess what Raiders fans: You may be right, maybe Carney, Weyman (*Hobble...Hobble*), Miller, Ale etc* will all have superb full seasons. but beyond 'he is gunn...yeah!', you have to understand why people would tip you for the spoon.

Azz has the right attitude. Sit back and hope for the best. You aren't convincing anyone!

Ale will not play first grade this year and hardly any - he has a bad habit of missing tackles...

canberra will make the top 8
that is all

they don't have an over 30 comp

mate the only players i know over 30 are Croker, Smith, Adamson and i think Woolford may have just crack the big 3-0
other than that they are all relatively young... so in short, your full of shit :)

That i will agree with, out admin are f**ked, royally f**ked, players and fans alike are sick and tired of them f**king around. The sooner they are ousted the better.

It had a sweet f**k all to do with his injury, he was 100% fit when he returned, it had a lot to do with signing with Roosters, he clearly didnt want to be in canberra any longer, and thats why he played like a gimp.

And from what im being told be people that have spoken to the raiders admin this whole deal bout the chooks offering less is a crock of shit, my mail is their offer was on par with the raiders offer but less than the Manly offer... mind you that wouldnt be including those 3rd party deals the chooks get going so... yea i recon he'd be one more cash at the chooks than anywhere else

I guess following a team of nevilles for 5 years means at least you can spot a crap team when it comes along, but then again you are always giving your team hope year in, year out

Haha, wow the tigers/raiders whinging works it way here. Kinda like a bad computer virus now.

Seriously though, with the amount of players the raiders lossed at the end of 2004 and then more recent weeks, to say they'll finish around the 8 somewhere is a pretty big call considering you scraped in there this season. One i dont agree with either to be honest. You wont finish last i know that, but i also know the 8 is a massive long shot in 2005.

yea fair point, but we really did play terrible last year, none of our big guns fired, if the same happens we will miss the 8 but we wont come last, if they do fire then we will make the 8 and possibly the 4

Yeah, agreed , however, with the overall talent in the squad for the Raiders obviously a lot weaker in 05, your really relying on a brand new halves combo, and for some of your younger blokes to stand up consistently. Honestly guys, i think the first half of the season's gonna be a real struggle for you guys, not saying thats 100% certain to happen but i'd would be the opinion of the nuetral league fans, the second half of the season things should pick up, the younger ones will start coming on stronger and 2006 should see the raiders back where they were at the beginning of 2004.

My Table

1 - Bulldogs - Wont be as strong as 2004, but will take out MP
2 - Broncos - Look strong in 2005, stronger than they did in 2004.
3 - Cowboys - Go the Cowboys
4 - Eels - The big movers, will be strong, but fall short of making the grand final.
5 - Roosters - will drop off, but will make the top 8
6 - Storm - Will surprise many, will be consistant and a real title threat.
7 - Dragons - always there or there abouts, injuries will dictate how they go in the finals
8 - Panthers - Can't see them doing a 2003
9 - Sharks
10 - Knights
11 - Warriors
12 - Tigers
13 - Manly
14 - Raiders
15 - Souths

9 - 15 could change around abit, if Joey gets injured then Knights will finish lower, if Manly lose a halves player then they will suffer, Tigers could fight for a top 8 spot, but will probably fall short again, raiders, souths and manly are no hope of making the 8.

Hmmm... nobody is tipping the Sharks to make the 8 except a couple of sharkies.

Hopefully that will help us, there is no pressure, no expectations.
