Me too ..... The chances of the Roosters being Minor Premiers next season are quite slim (I'd still have them in the top 3-5 though).

True, but I was refering more to the fact that Sharks would win the GF, let alone A grand final

don't go to the TAB - I'll give you $30.00 it would be the easiest money I ever made - no wonder the TAB keeps making a killing with people like yourself losing their money that quick...did you back Raddish in the Melbourne Cup??

Consider them marked, but I'll prolly forget this but you won't remind me when they don't make the 8

I'll inform the Knights to run for the hills, the raiders have a strong premier league team. I'm sure these premier league superstars will make the transition to 1st grade in one game and be able to match the already established 1st grade players. I have never seen a club going into a year, relying there hopes on a bunch of premier league players and a handfull of juniors and hardheads. There is not one star in that team. It's gonna be a long year in the nations capital.

How about the Bulldogs in '04: Sonny Bill Williams, Willie Tonga, Roy Asotasi. Went from nobody's to internationals in one year. and how many of the Bulldogs players would you have considered "stars" before season 2004? And besides, the main reason we rate our youngsters is because they've played first grade, and succeeded there, eg, Marshall Chalk, Michael Weyman and Josh Miller. If you haven't heard of them, then that's just the media's fault for not giving us goverage, and if you don't rate them, that's your own problem for not watching any Raiders matches.

Sonny Bill was seen by many as the next big thing last year prior to season's start and Willy Tonga was also seen as a very talented junior that had been kept out of the starting line up by two internationals.. Comparing Tonga and SBW to Chalk Weyman and Miller is a little off the mark. Not to say they won't be great players but both SBW and Tonga certainly were no where near as lo-fi as that lot....

Kris_Man you make it sound like the Raiders PL team set the world on fire and won the title in PL? 4th place and knocked out in the semis is hardly worth the praise.
