1. Bulldogs - Very good again
2. Roosters - Good, year in year out.
3. Cowboys - Good additions, can only improve.
4. Storm - Quality side.
5. Dragons - Will thrash teams and be thrashed.
6. Panthers - loss of a few players will hurt a little bit. Still pretty solid.
7. Broncos - Be solid this year, without being fantastic.
8. Warriors - Nothing better than watching them at their best on foxsports@ erricson on a Sunday arvo.
9. EELS - Quality additions, but they seem to always lack heart, therefore will lose more than they win.
10. Manly- Kennedy to spend most of the year on the sideline, I hope they improve but.
11. Tigers- Can't seem them doing anything better than last year.
12. Knights- down, down, down.
13. Sharks- Will win a few scrappy games, but not much for shark fans besides that.
14. Souths- Will improve.
15. Raiders- Will be the wipping boys.

If Johns is there, the Knights will always be a premiership threat.

If he isn't then we won't be. Plain and simple.

We also need players like Simpson, Abraham, Reynoldson, Woolnough, Newton and Perry  to stand up and have a relatively injury free year.

Totally Agree JM

Wheather we make the 8 or not, I don't know, but I know for a fact that there is no way we will finish last. That's a pathetic prediction.

I just don't rate the Tigers forward pack, skandalis is good but he can't do it all on his own.

Where have i stated anything bold about our season ;-) On paper ur team looks worse then souths. Canberra are been tipped very heavily for the spoon. At least we have a quality player to go down. Oh sh*t chalks hurt, we'll just replace him with buggarelli

Newcastle have the worst depth of all the teams,

Funny thing is that Canberra has bought well in the later months yet the general public doesn't see, your team is without Robbio and BK and Tahu, 3 internationals and we are the ones in strife??????

1 - Canberra
2 - Souths
3 - Eels
4 - Panthers
5 - Bulldogs
6 - Warriors
7 - Penrith
8 - Cowboys
9 - Roosters
10 - Manly
11 - Cronulla
12 - Melbourne
13 - Brisbane
14 - Dragons
15 - Tigers

This is too hard to predict considering how significant injuries can play to a team's success ie. Newcastle. However, I believe Manly, Parra, Souths, Warriors will improve and Tigers shall finally sneak into the 8.

1 - Eels - New blood bringing new attitude to the club.
2 - Brisbane - Consistently good all year, fading a little towards the end
3 - Dragons - Slow start, get a big roll on in the back end of the season.
4 - Tigers - Big surprise packet, Benji and Prince in great form and thrilling attacking side.
5 - Cowboys - Improving on last year, struggle a little for consistency at times.
6 - Storm - very inconsistent but will thump a lot of teams on their day.
7 - Manly - Great start to year before dropping off badly because they really suck.
8 - Sharks - See Manly
9 - Bulldogs - buttf**ked by injuries. Everyone will keep waiting for them to come good but it won't happen.
10 - Raiders - Will go much better than most expect, Jason Smith to have a great year.
11 - Roosters - no idea in attack without Freddy. Brett who?
12 - Warriors - wildly inconsistent with more bad performances than good
13 - Penrith - Big lumbering forwards but no spark in their play
14 - Souths - More wins than expected but at the end of the day it's still Souths
15 - Newcastle - pathetic losing streak to start season before salvaging some dignity when Joey finds form

mate the following are all ahead of boogs:

Chalk, Mogg, Frawley, Schif, Robertson, N.Smith, Ale, Howell, Graham, Don Tweedle, Martha Stewart

now lets just hope elliot agree, besides who in gods name are you as a knights fans to critise me a raiders fan about depth?
you blokes have got a sweet f**k all of it!
whilst our junior teams are pretty much killing it, PL came 1st and 3rd in the last 2 years, flegg - 3rd and (this years result eludes me :?) and SG Ball won in 03 and did quite well this year also... how about the Knights?!

Take Monaghan,Davico and Wiki out of the Raiders team and there is a gaping hole in the side.Same for the Knights losing Robbie O,Tahu and Kennedy. But at least they have Johns and Gidley in the halves. The Raiders dont have any strike in their halves and have lost plenty of oomph up front.Schifcofsce is gonna have to play 5/8 or they are farked IMHO.

Cheers.

I find it hilarious that people get so offended over prediction threads particularly Raiders supporters. Its not hard to tip the Raiders for the spoon with the players they have lost and how far they have fallen from 03. As it was said before, if the Raiders do prove everyone wrong and make the 8 it will be all the more satisfying won't it?.

1. Bulldogs
2. Dragons
3. Cowboys
4. Roosters
5. Penrith
6. Eels
7. Broncos
8. Storm
9. Warriors
10. Sharks
11. Manly
12. Knights
13. Souths
14. Tigers
15. Raiders

I agree with you table, but would have the Broncos, Storm, Tigers and Knights higher, and Manly lower.

The Dragons could very well take out the minor premiership or just scrap into the 8. Very unpredictable side to read.

I don't think Manly will be all the competative in 2005, and obviously i'm not the only one. They have potential, but no coach.

Possibly the most insane prediction here:

1. Cowboys

Penrith did it from last. The Cowboys could quite easily do it from 7th.

If the rep season doesn't hurt them too much, it's quite possible the Cowboys can do it.

They've always had the ability, but now they know that they can mix it with the best when it counts and don't fear sides anymore. The days when they used to get leads against the top sides and then crumble under pressure (not knowing how to win) seem to have passed and the Cowboys could finally see themsleves as one of the competition heavyweights as alot of us have been waiting for.

Cheers.

I think the Broncos and Knights will both struggle with the loss of key personel. Tallis I feel will be a huge loss as IMO the Broncos pack lifts when he was on the field. I think Brad thorn is an excellent addition to the broncos but he has been out of the game for a while and I don't think he will be the same player he was.

The Knights will struggle with the players they have lost. Kennedy, although injured alot , really lifted the knights pack and they won alot of games when he was on the field. The Knights are in a rebuilding year with alot of young forwards who will be better for the experience in 05. I see the Knights as a contender in 06.

I felt the storm overachieved in 04 and will suffer in the backrow without Kearney and Reynoldson. And the Tigers IMO just don't have the quality across the park to compete with the big teams, with the exception of a few players. Manly's forward pack looks strong and will carry them, although their centres will let them down.

I think the Knights still have the quality to make the 8. Kennedy is really their only big loss, but with any luck they'll have a fit simpson and abraham in 2005 and have him covered.

The Storm I feel will be more consistant with Scott and Feeney joining their forward pack. Hoffman and Johnson look the goods and will have big years in 2005. Their backs are as good as anyones in the comp.

Tigers I guess could go either way, make the 8 or fall flat on their face.

Broncos will be better in 2005 than 2004. Our backline has improved in terms of quality and we'll have Seymour back, with Barnes as back up. Watch out for Barnes, he is gonna be huge. Plus we get both our hookers back. throw Thorn into the mix and we look pretty good.
