Where have i stated anything bold about our season ;-) On paper ur team looks worse then souths. Canberra are been tipped very heavily for the spoon. At least we have a quality player to go down. Oh sh*t chalks hurt, we'll just replace him with buggarelli

mate the following are all ahead of boogs:

Chalk, Mogg, Frawley, Schif, Robertson, N.Smith, Ale, Howell, Graham, Don Tweedle, Martha Stewart

now lets just hope elliot agree, besides who in gods name are you as a knights fans to critise me a raiders fan about depth?
you blokes have got a sweet f**k all of it!
whilst our junior teams are pretty much killing it, PL came 1st and 3rd in the last 2 years, flegg - 3rd and (this years result eludes me :?) and SG Ball won in 03 and did quite well this year also... how about the Knights?!

Don Tweedle, stop it, you're killing me

If competitions were decided by juniors depth and strength, Penrith, Brisbane and the Warriors would have been the only horses in the race for premierships with their depth. It don't mean jack. Some players are great below NRL level (Leuluai springs to mind) but can't perform at the top level. You've lost too many hard heads up front, and have no skill whatsoever in the halves, especially to organise a team in attack. Woeful.
Don't knock Don Tweddle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Corrimal Cougars legend.

We still scored more points than your team this year, a lot more.

The Te Awamutu Pig Hunters 6th XIII could have scored more points than my team this year. This isn't about 2004. This is about 2005. And for the Raiders its all bad news.

You can't say a bunch of nuff nuff juniors are going to be as good as Davico, Wiki etc. It isn't going to happen. Sorry, but you will be getting a bit of wood next year.

To be fair with out halves the Te Awamutu Pig Hunters 6th XIII could out score us too but we didnt have a world class player like Jones, we had Drew who is a nuffy and an out of form McLinden, so we have a fair excuse... whats yours?

1 Bulldogs - Last season I tipped us to come 6th and we won the comp. We're losing players but as long as we don't get complacent we'll improve
2 Roosters - They'll be a weaker side without fittler but they still have a very good attacking backline, 2 up and coming halves and an international forward pack. I don't think they'll be as good as 2004 but 2nd none the less.
3 Dragons - This year they struggled to keep players on deck and they came 5th. The law of probability suggests they won't have as many problems in 05. They were a little unlucky to bow out so early in the finals and they started to turn the corner in consistancy this year.
4 Penrith - They've lost some players but they have 2 of the best backs in the comp (Rooney and Lewis) and a try scoring feind at full back (wesser). Gower and an awesome back row.
5 Melbourne - they've lost a few old heads but guys like slater, Matt King and cameron smith have their best years in front of them. Hill and Orford are the best and most under rated halves combo in the comp. Theres no reason why they will get any weaker then they have been in 03 and 04.
6 Broncos - Gary Tupou will become the next sailor/tuqiri and karmichael hunt will be another year older (f**k the 2nd year syndrome bullshit) however they have falled away at the back end of seasons since 2001 due to injuries, relating in part to the hectic rep scheduel. Until they prove otherwise I won't put then any higher then 5th or 6th.
7 Newcastle - they've lost players but any team with andrew johns in it will make the play offs - no doubt about it.
8 Cowboys - I think they'll struggle to live up to the expectations of being a great side. Home fans won't tollerate anything less then a genuine title contendor - something they cowboys aren't used to. They played wonderful footy during and in the lead up to the finals but can they do that week in, week out for 26 rounds and a maximum of 4 finals matches?

I just don't rate the Tigers forward pack, skandalis is good but he can't do it all on his own.

he wont have too next year im hopeing lafranchi will play prop and than we have a few off the bench like Gibbs/Lima and Merideth

15. Souths (I'd like to see them do better, and I want to see them do better, but after I put all the teams in, they were the the last one, so I have put them in last. If their backline stays in tact, they will push for 10th or so, but no higher. Don't have the Forwards to be in the 8 yet.)

so am i
ill laugh my ass off when i bring this back rd.26 next year
we may only sneak in but we will be there... if we do just miss it there is no way in the world we will get the spoon

My old man said to bet the mortgage on Mayki BeDiva, I'd rather bet it on the Raiders finishing outside the top 8, and a bit of cash on them finishing 15th. No chance of success.

Please tell us again how the Warriors went in 04????

Don't always base things on media speculation and the opinion of 'the masses.'

Canberra will be there in the 8.

Same excuses you just used.

Jones out of form, a "nuffy" called Kemp.

You have to admit with the blokes that Canberra have lost you would expect them to slide this year.Last year if we were playing them without Messrs Wiki,Davico,Monaghan I would be pretty confident. They still have issues in their halves IMHO and without their guns you have to think that this may be a tough year for them.

Cheers.

It could go either way with us, but I cannot see us running last. We have enough talent to cover the bottom teams fairly comfortably.

Wiki is a huge loss but we will cover the loss of Joel Monas no dramas - fingers crossed Weyman steps up to replace Davico. Jason Smith adds stability to the halves and will assist Campese and Carney who are coming through.

You just never know - however I am quietly confident :)
