You're joking if you still think Newie are that dependent on Johns. Even with him absent *and* one of the worst injury tolls of any club in 2004, we managed to miss the eight by just one win. Not only that, we defeated the likes of Brisbane and the Bulldogs without him.

The one man team thing won't be disproved until we make the semis without him, but I think some credit is due to the Knights. They did a brilliant job without him this year. Not world beaters, but then, neither would Sydney be without Fittler all year, or Brisbane without Locks.

fully agree with you 100%

i dont know if its a prediction but more of a hope - i hope for my best friends sake that parra come out of their total crapness and other players apart from hindy actually give it their all. few good players entering the team (riddell..awww ill miss him!) so maybe they will actually be in contention this year? who knows.

once again not predictions but i hope the cowboys continue their awesome form and play some more entertaining football.

and i hope the dragons can transfer their 'best team on paper' to being the best team on the field. and not choke! please no more choking boys. my heart cant handle it

just wondering?

so what happen after your mass recruitment in 2000 and 2004??

atleast we've made the semi's and most of us have seen our team win a premiership

where are you going in your next September holidays? in 2005?

*Roosters to slip down the ladder as defence proves a problem
*Gould and Stuart have fall out
*QLD win origin. Hunt and Lockyer star for the Maroons.

Laurie Daley will come out with his expert opinion that Dragons will win the comp, Raiders will finish top 4, Storm will finish 11th, Warriors will win the wooden spoon.

Reality will be that Dragons will struggle to make the top 8, again. Raiders will finish 9th. Storm will finish 3rd. Warriors will finish 10. Wooden spoon will belong to the Eels.
