The answer is simple, don't over do it. I said it before the venue was awarded, and I said it when the venue was announced, and I've said it ever since - the game should have been allocated to Melbourne. But the ARL got carried away with a few successes in Brisbane and tried to milk the city for too much. Brisbane already had two Origin matches to sell this year as well as last week's local blockbuster between the Titans and the Broncos. Regardless of how much the city deserved to be rewarded for supporting the international game, the Test was just a big match too many. Meanwhile Melbourne has been left with nothing to follow up and consolidate last year's success down there. Even if they had've drawn the same crowd, 35,000 in Melbourne would have been much more valuable to the growth of the game than a two thirds filled Aussie or Suncorp Stadium.
